About the position:
The successful applicants will have a clearly defined Philosophy of Education and demonstrate the skills and dispositions required to work collaboratively with at least one other teacher in a flexible, co-teaching classroom setting. A high degree of digital fluency, the ability to teach using technology in an Apple based school, and a willingness to undertake Apple educator training is essential.

Established in 1882, the story of Claremont College now spans three centuries.
Claremont College is a co-educational, non-selective, Anglican, independent day primary school, serving students aged 5-12. Located in Randwick, New South Wales, the school has approximately 360 enrolled students.

Claremont College, an exceptional school, that is recognised world-wide for its award winning open learning spaces and researched co-teaching models. The new, flexible classrooms are designed to maximise natural light and ventilation, safety, colour, acoustics, ergonomics, and sustainability. Other facilities include a library, hall, outdoor recreation areas, and farmyard garden.
Curriculum
Claremont College’s curriculum delivers the NSW Board of Studies syllabus in the areas of English, maths, science and technology, human society and environment, PDHPE, and creative and practical arts. In line with the Australian Curriculum, Claremont College addresses the 10 “general capabilities” throughout its programme. These capabilities are literacy, numeracy, ICT, ethical understanding, intercultural understanding, critical and creative thinking, civics and citizenship, work and enterprise, difference and diversity, and personal and social capability. Co-curricular activities include chess, maths Olympiad, computer clubs, choirs, school band, string ensemble, dance groups, a biennial musical production, and the eco warriors, gardening, and farmyard clubs. Religious co-curricular activities include the Student Christian Fellowship Group and Student Bible Study Groups.
