We are looking for:

  • An Excellent teacher who is able to raise standards and provide high quality, challenging and differentiated learning experiences for a class of children with ASD within an Autism Base, which is part of the mainstream primary school.
  • A teacher with experience in teaching children with special needs or who has an Early Years/ Key Stage One background and is ready for a new challenge. 
  • A teacher who can assess, record and report on children’s progress and set challenging targets in line with school policy.
  • A teacher that can attend and contribute towards Annual Reviews. 
  • A professional who can lead and mentor support staff within the class and ensure they are effective practitioners.
  • A teacher who is committed and able to work within an inclusive setting.
  • A professional who is enthusiastic about attended and contribute to team meetings and in-service training.
  • A teacher who will take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A teacher who will assist in meeting the children’s personal care needs where appropriate.
  • A professional who will work co-operatively and collaboratively with other staff and members of the multi-professional team.
