Kingfisher Primary requires an experienced KS2 class teacher with responsibility for Science and the Technologies Curriculum Team. This opportunity has a TLR attached to it.

The Governors wish to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic KS2 practitioner, to help raise standards and develop assessment in science. This vacancy has occurred due to the promotion of the science lead. It is an excellent opportunity for a class teacher who has experience of raising attainment to join our school. The ideal candidate would have a passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to improving the life chances of children.

Kingfisher Primary, is a larger than average primary school based in Doncaster, easily accessible from the M18/A1 motorway network. We serve pupils with an age range of 3-11 years in an increasingly diverse community. Kingfisher Primary place children and their wellbeing at the heart of its work.

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and able to inspire others?  
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers and other professionals?
