Class Teacher (Fixed term - 2020 School Year) St Peter Chanel School, The Gap

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  
   

St Peter Chanel School, The Gap is seeking a primary classroom teacher for a fixed term position (2020 school year). 

To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria: 

appropriate qualifications and experience, plus eligibility for accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic School. 

Applicants require effective communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, the proven capacity to differentiate teaching and learning, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices (including confidence and competence with the effective use of technology), a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum and evidence of successful progress and implementation of key elements of the BCE Model of Pedagogy and Expected and Effective Practices.

St Peter Chanel is situated in The Gap and draws on the traditions and ethos of the Marist fathers and the Sisters of Charity who founded our school.
