Becontree is a friendly, inclusive and multicultural, two form entry primary school situated in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. We provide high quality education and care for children aged 3 to 11, with our school motto of “Respecting One Another” being central to all aspects of our work.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a motivated and highly effective teacher to join our hard working and supportive team. As a teacher in the ARP you will work in partnership with the Local Authority and the school’s Strategic Leadership Team on this exciting project to set up a brand-new provision for children with Autism that provides high quality teaching in a culture of nurture, challenge and support. This post would not be suitable for an NQT.

About Becontree Primary School
Becontree Primary School is a mixed, non-denominational community primary school for three- to 11-year-olds, located in Dagenham, Essex. The school has capacity for just over 500 pupils and is operated by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
The school was established in October 1922 to meet the educational demand created by the construction of the Becontree housing estate.
