We are seeking to appoint a motivated class teacher to come and join the staff team at Brackenbury.   This position initially is likely to be within KS1 or KS2.

Brackenbury is a diverse and vibrant school that is fully reflective of the mixed community which it serves. We have been graded as outstanding by Ofsted (Jan ’09) and wish to continue to enhance our fantastic teaching and learning.

About Brackenbury Primary School

On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I would like to thank you for your interest in Brackenbury Primary School.

Brackenbury Primary School is a large, vibrant, welcoming school in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The building is situated on a large site and dates back to 1879. Every classroom is provided with up-to-date resources and the latest technology including interactive screens. Among our facilities are a full computer suite, art room, music room, flexible hall for drama and gymnastics as well as a larger hall used for assemblies and performances to parents.

We are fortunate to have several small group teaching rooms used by specialist teachers and a wonderful Library. Also on site is a dedicated Early Years building housing our youngest children as well as ‘The Shed’ which is home to our before  school childcare service. Excellent staff, office and reception facilities add to the superb environment which enhances teaching and learning for every adult and child who has the opportunity to become part of the Brackenbury Primary School community.

Brackenbury is part of a Federation with Kenmont Primary and Wendell Park Primary Schools, both in LBHF. We share an Executive Head teacher and offer staff many opportunities to work with colleagues across our partnership of school and share best practice and undertake joint professional development.
