The City of London Primary Academy Islington has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and inspirational teacher to join our KS1 team. During the summer term, you will work across the parallel Y1 classes as an additional member of the team, provide some PPA cover and deliver bespoke Y1 interventions. A proven track record of delivering high quality RWI would be highly desirable. The benefit of joining our school in April, is that you will get to know the children and school really well, prior to taking your own class from September 2019.
Our new school opened its doors in September 2017 with two reception classes and the school is growing, year on year; to date we have Reception and Y1 children. We seek a teacher who is passionate about education, with the talent to inspire outstanding outcomes for our pupils through the delivery of a challenging and exciting curriculum.
In return we offer a golden opportunity for the right candidate to join our founding team of practitioners who are driven to develop an exceptional school for future generations. We have wonderful children who demonstrate exemplary behaviour and highly supportive families who work in close partnership with the school. We welcome applications from teachers who are committed to personal excellence. You will join a highly supportive and motivated team, committed to creative and stimulating approaches to teaching and learning.
For the right candidate, there may be future career development opportunities to lead and motivate children and colleagues in the pursuit of excellence across a range of specialist areas as our school expands.
