Class Teacher

This vacancy is to cover a P4/5 class.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our staff team for a fixed term maternity cover. You must be committed to school improvement, promoting high quality learning and teaching, and raising achievement and attainment for all learners. The school underwent a refurbishment in 2013 to enhance the learning environment.

Our primary school roll currently stands at 136 pupils. We currently have 6 primary classes of which 5 are composite structures. Our Nursery setting has space for 18 children in morning and afternoon sessions, with flexibility for whole day provision.

We have an active and supportive Parent Council who are involved in the life and work of the school which includes supporting the school with curriculum focus events and running fundraising events that benefit all pupils in the school.
