Job overview
Based at Goodlyburn Primary School, you will work as part of a team to support with a range of additional support needs. You will assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising the standards of pupil attainment and provide general support in relation to the needs of the class and individuals’ care, health and well-being and safety; to ensure a secure and safe environment.

The Individual
We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic team member who has a mature approach to working with children and supporting their academic, social and emotional development. You should be confident to use your own initiative and understand that working with children has the requirement to respect confidentiality.
Experience of working with children and/or young people with additional support needs is desirable as is the ability to communicate effectively by building positive relationships with children who have a range of learning needs.
