Job overview

Are you excited about changing direction from Mainstream teaching to SEMH?

Do you believe you have what it takes to work with some amazingly vibrant young people?

Then why not come and join us at Moatbridge SEMH Secondary School?

We are looking for an amazing Primary Skilled Teacher to come and join our vibrant SEMH secondary school within the heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We can offer a highly supportive and skilled team to work with, as well as some amazing young people, who want to work with you in supporting their behaviours - helping them to move forward with their academic and vocational studies.

Your main role will be teaching pupils within our main school. Although we are a specialist secondary school, we proactively welcome enquiries from experienced mainstream colleagues and in particular, primary trained staff who would like to extend their skill base. The main school supports pupils who have an EHCP and whose behaviours have made it difficult to be educated within a mainstream class. They are intelligent, vibrant and willing to learn!

We welcome informal discussions and visits, so please contact Meic Griffiths - Executive Headteacher for Moatbridge SEMH Secondary and Waterside Primary, Outreach, nest, Nurture and Nook Schools.

Please note: Moatbridge School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All posts are subject to pre-employment checks.  References will be sought and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Closing Date:  Friday 15 June 2018
