The Governing Body wish to appoint an excellent teacher to reflect the school’s vision of high quality provision.  The post is flexible according to the interests and experiences of the teacher we appoint therefore, expertise can be in teaching either EYFS or KS1.

The Governing Body of Tatworth Primary School would like to appoint someone who:

• Is an excellent Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1 classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• Believes in a balance of child-initiated and adult-initiated activities and guided play
• Has a good knowledge of the curriculum and how children learn
• Is committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all children
• Is able to communicate well with colleagues, parents and pupils
• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
