Job overview
We are seeking to recruit a number of outstanding Classroom Support Assistant to join our team at our Torquay site.
Classroom Support Assistants - Grade C point 10 – 13 £11,707 - £12,704 (actual pro rata salary) per annum.
We are currently recruiting for one full time (30 hours per week) position to start immediately, three full time (30 hours per week) to start in January and one maternity leave cover position to start in January also.
All positions are term time only and for a fixed term period until the 31st August 2019.
We are looking for candidates who are keen, motivated and are able to work as part of a team. Successful applicants will preferably have experience of working in a school setting. Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and or working with pupils with profound and severe learning difficulties is desirable but not essential as further training is available.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. These posts are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and barred list check and other Safeguarding and Medical Checks. The interview will be a panel interview along with a written task and may include other tasks on the day.
All candidates will be required to provide two references which will be taken up if shortlisted but before interview.
