Northside Primary School is a school very much at the heart of the local community. It has a long and proud tradition of educating and inspiring the children of west Cumbria. The trustees of our happy and forward-thinking school with superb facilities, located in Workington are seeking to appoint an EYFS Teacher.

Northside School is a school led with vision, honesty and integrity keeping our children at the heart of all we do. We are part of the Cumbria Education Trust, CET which is a growing multi academy trust based in Cumbria; and is committed to creating outstanding, innovative and inspiring learning environments for our schools and their communities.

The successful candidate will be joining Northside as part of CET at an exciting time, as we continue to build on our successes and move forward on our journey.

We are looking for a committed and dynamic class teacher to join us in September on a permanent basis.


The successful candidate will:


• Be an experienced practitioner with experience of SEND

• Be an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community

• Set high expectations and have a commitment to challenging learners to achieve well

• Be a passionate, caring and inspirational teacher

• Be self-motivated and reliable

• Be enthusiastic about inter-school collaborative working and committed to Continuous Professional Development

• Be able to lead a non-core subject/s across school.
