We are seeking applications for a Classroom Teacher at a school located on a remote Northern Territory Island. About the Role:

  • Classroom Teacher – Remote NT Island
  • Commencing Term 2 2021
  • Contract until the end of the academic year - strong view to continue in 2022
  • Focus on maths, science and literacy
  • Role also includes some inclusion support and special needs
  • Primary or secondary trained teachers are welcomed to apply
  • Remote Indigenous School
  • Island accessible by air and ferry
  • Strong focus on faith, culture and learning
  • Passionate staff dedicated to making a difference
  • Sense of adventure required to relocate to a remote Northern Territory location

Selection Criteria:

  • Graduate and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
  • Provide a minimum of three professional references
  • Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with TRBNT
  • Have the right to work in Australia
