St Francis De Sales Regional College is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified, experienced and professional Cleaners to service the College’s Cleaning Operations. All Expressions of Interest received by the College will remain confidential.  The Cleaning Staff at St Francis College serve an essential role in the school in partnership with other support staff.  In addition to taking responsibility for specialist tasks outlined, a key feature of the work of all Cleaning Staff is their ability to be flexible and responsive to the immediate and varied needs of the College which arise in the daily life of the school.  All Cleaners are therefore expected to contribute to a team approach. 


Primary Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, wipe down, wash, mop, polish, hose, empty/remove rubbish bags and reline bins, clean windows, defrost and clean fridges, and wipe down computers and benches, clean bathrooms; including toilets.

• Areas to clean include staffrooms, general learning areas, offices and work/storage areas, and Boarding Facilities.

• Restock cleaning chemicals from main cleaner’s storeroom.

• Maintain all cleaning equipment in good working condition.

• Other duties as directed by the principal and/or appointed delegates that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying a position at this classification.


This is for the purpose of creating a CASUAL WORK POOL.

St Francis de Sales Regional College is a mixed, non-selective, independent, Roman Catholic secondary school in Australia, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school is situated in Leeton, New South Wales. The school also offers boarding. 

St Francis de Sales Regional College was founded in 1956 as an all-boys school.  In 2000, the school was renovated with six additional classrooms and an extension to the library, with a new sports complex opening the following year, complete with tennis, basketball, netball and volleyball courts.
