Description All Saints’ College, Maitland is seeking a temporary part-time (16 hours/week) Cleaner to join the school community commencing ASAP.

The position would be required from 2pm – 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday including holiday cleaning.



All Saints’ College is a coeducational year 7-12 Catholic School which is part of the Catholic Schools Office, Maitland Newcastle Diocese. Approximately 1500 students and 200 staff spread across 2 campuses, we are the largest school in our diocese and one of the largest Catholic Schools in the state. St Peter’s Campus caters for our year 7-10 students, and St Mary’s Campus caters for our senior students in years 11 and 12.

Position Requirements • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to work efficiently.

• Ability to follow instruction of school Principal or delegated authority.

Essential Criteria •Skills & experience in using a polyvac machine and in stripping and sealing floors

• neat, well-groomed appearance

• ability to thoroughly clean school toilet blocks and classrooms

• effective interpersonal skills

• ability to work in a team situation

• demonstrated understanding of hygiene issues in a school environment

• prompt and reliable

• Current Paid Working with Children Check
Desirable Criteria
• Previous experience as a school cleaner would be an advantage

The Catholic Schools Office (CSO), is responsible for the leadership, efficient operation and management of systemic schools which educate more than 18,000 students in 45 Primary schools, 10 Secondary schools and one K-12 school in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.
