Clerical Administration Assistant - Part Time Temporary
(19 hrs per week Tues, Wed, Thurs) until 18 December 2020
Role Description:
To carry out necessary administrative duties in a team environment within a busy secondary school Administration Office, which will include but is not limited to assisting the School Records Officer, customer services to students and visitors and day to day administration tasks within the office.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in the maintenance of all student data which will include but is not limited to the following:
o Assisting with the preparation of school rolls
o Assistance with enrolment data therefore adding and removing students in the data base
o Assistance with the preparation of all relevant correspondence to parents
o Assistance with the preparation of student reporting
o Assistance with the preparation of commendations
Provide attendance information to Abstudy, Centrelink and Private Vehicle Subsidy and other statutory bodies
Customer service with all visitors and students
Assistance with students on a day to day basis
Answering phones
Processing of payments, when necessary
Filing
Assisting the students who are in sick bay
Desirable Criteria:
Experience is not essential but is desirable in using the following school database systems:
o SAS; SchoolWorx; Accelerus; First Class
Certificate II or higher in Administrative Services
General office administration experience
Excellent attention to detail
Meet all timelines when necessary
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist all team members in the Administration Office
Experience using Microsoft Office & Excel, especially Mail Merge and Google suite of apps
First Aid certificate, desirable but not essential

St Paul's College is a Catholic co-educational systemic school located in West Kempsey in the Macleay Valley of NSW, and caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
Established in 1980, the school was originally two separate high schools which merged together to form what was then called Macleay Regional Catholic High School. In 1985 the name changed for the last time to what it is known as today.

The school's campus features modern buildings with modern interiors that includes specialised science labs, food technology facilities, metal and timber work rooms, new visual arts studios, a drama hall and dedicated agriculture and IT rooms. Students also have online access to the school's interactive Chisholm Library that provides helpful information of what's going on in the classroom and the whole school.
Curriculum
In the early years at St Paul's, the students curriculum is centrally focused arounds key subjects such as Maths, English, Health and Sciences. Specialised electives are then offered to the older students to further develop their skills. These include; Multimedia Studies, Agriculture, Food Technology, Textiles, Timber, Metal and Languages. Religious Education and faith development is central to the students at St Paul's, with every student taking an active role in the subject throughout all years.
