St Bede’s is a single stream Catholic co-education Primary School from K-6 centrally located in the leafy surrounds of Red Hill in the Australian Capital Territory. St Bede’s provides children with specialist teachers who support and enhance classroom teachers in implementing their programs in the areas of French, Music, ICT and Learning Support. About the Role
The school is seeking to appoint a Clerical and Events Assistant to support the promotion of the school to the Canberra community. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing marketing materials and developing print and digital media that build the school’s brand.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in a related role. Qualifications in communications or a communication-related field will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, development and implementation of advertising, communications and marketing strategies, plans and campaigns.
- Demonstrated skills in facilitating the design of and the capacity to maintain websites and an understanding of social media marketing strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the creative ability to write content, sound print and digital marketing materials, along with skills to produce creative in-house communication materials.
- Self-motivated, organised and detail-oriented with high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with staff and stakeholders at all levels, tailoring communications to meet their needs.
- Hold relevant qualifications equivalent to a Diploma or Certificate IV
- Hold an approved Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP)
