We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist at Vanguard School in Kennington, London. Vanguard School is one of the family of NAS schools. We cater for pupils from 5 – 19 years. You’ll be working with autistic adults, children and their families in a school setting. 

The Psychology Service is an essential element of the School’s Transdisciplinary professional support team which strives to improve the educational, social, environmental and developmental experiences of our children.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist who:

Will have a depth of experience and knowledge in autism and Transdisciplinary team based- approaches and someone who is also excited by the opportunity of working collaboratively with other professionals and in partnership with the young people themselves and their families, to provide a fully integrated and therapeutic approach to their education.  We need you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people.

Excellent research opportunities including those provided by the Autism Research Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist working in the NAS you will be part of a large group of over 50 psychologists and therapists working across the NAS schools and also in the NAS diagnostic services based in the internationally recognised Lorna Wing Centres. We are committed to supporting our staff in their personal development and professional supervision and CPD opportunities are provided through this network of specialist clinicians.
