College Counsellor

Cardiff Sixth Form College is seeking to appoint an experienced counsellor for the 2017/18 academic year, starting in January for the start of the Spring Term.

The college counsellor will be required to provide a confidential counselling service for students within the school to enable persons to better manage the personal challenges, difficulties or problems confronting them, whether perceived or actual. They are also required to implement a comprehensive college counselling programme that addresses both the academic and personal/social development of all children in the school

The College is fully co-educational for students aged 15 -20, with approximately 350 students comprising of both day pupils and boarders. 

While academic achievement lies at the heart of what we do, we never forget the importance of fostering mutual respect and decency amongst our pupils. We believe that all our children have something to offer, and we are driven by a desire to find areas where each of them can excel.
