Communication Support Worker (qualified)

Wednesdays 10.00 to 17.00, 22 weeks from 24/01/18 and
Recruitment to an approved pool. Accepted applicants will be offered suitable work as and when it becomes available, however work cannot be guaranteed.
£22.94 per hour inclusive of pro-rata holiday entitlement and administration allowance
We looking to build up our pool of Communication Support Workers to provide communication access, note taking and in-class language and basic skills support to deaf and disabled students at City Lit and/or college(s) and universities within London and the surrounding area. The majority of these students will be on mainstream courses. They will be studying at a variety of levels from entry to post-graduate. Other work including modification of language and relevant administration will be required
If you have effective communication and interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team, these roles could be for you. A commitment to quality, health and safety, equality and diversity, customer care and safeguarding are also essential.
