Job overview

Required as soon as possible, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Communications and Marketing Officer to join our team.  As a new role to the school, this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take a lead role in the development and implementation of a Communication and Marketing strategy. You will be an influential member of the school’s Communication team to deliver innovative communications to a broad range of stakeholders, establish brand loyalty, secure positive relationships, and promote widely the breadth of our educational offer for students. 

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to contribute to a busy and ambitious team.

Kingsmeadow Community Comprehensive School is a mixed, non-denominational community secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. The school is operated by Gateshead Council, and has about 950 pupils. It is located in Dunston in the north east of England.
