We have an exciting opportunity for two Community and Sports Development Coaches to join our team in a new and developing role.
Job Summary
The Community and Sports Development Coach is a varied position which has two distinct elements to the role. During term time you will work in both Primary and Secondary Schools to deliver against a set of objectives and support some of the following:
- PE Lessons (Physical Education, School Sport, and Physical Activity (PESSPA) qualified or working towards)
- Mentoring and coaching (small groups/one on one pupil support)
- Afterschool enrichment to primary and secondary schools
- PPA Cover
- Cover Supervision
Outside the academic year your role will support the Commercial Department developing the following areas:
- Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) in Salisbury for eligible students during the holidays
- Community based programmes
- Development of commercial sporting activity to support income generation
You will have a set timetable and working hours during the Academic School year and will need to remain flexible to support the additional requirements of the role. Both roles will be mobile, and you will need to be comfortable working across multiple schools within the trust. There will be occasions where you will be required to work during the evening and on weekends.
