An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Community Learning Coordinator to join the Adult and Community Learning Team at Trafford College Group in order to realise our vision of being a dynamic career college.
This is an exciting time to join the Group following the merger with Stockport College and represents a fantastic opportunity to drive transformational change for the students, employers and communities of Stockport and Trafford.
You will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and delivering the community learning provision, ensuring high quality learning to meet the diverse needs of the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Producing and agreeing an annual business plan to deliver the strategic aims and objectives of the College as they relate to the Team’s activities.
• To act as coordinator for staff within the Team providing professional and personal support.
• Develop the Team’s activities to maximise cost efficiency and income.
• Plan course delivery in conjunction with the Community Development Workers.
• Produce a delivery plan for community learning course provision.
In order to be successful for this role, it is essential that you have experience of coordinating community learning and/or pre-employment provision, have experience of Family Learning, PCDL, First Step learning, NLDC programme and pre-employment programmes and a PTTLS qualification or equivalent or a commitment to achieving this and maths and English qualification to level 2 or equivalent.
