Job overview
We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Leicester. You will be working with students with MLD, SLD and Complex Needs who are 4 to 19 years of age. You will be joining a friendly school environment that is dedicated to making sure that all students receive the education that they deserve.
This role will begin as soon as possible and end at the end of the academic year, we are ideally looking for someone that has had previous experience of working with students who find the school environment challenging. You will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, supporting the class teacher with the daily running of lessons.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
