The role 


This school are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and committed Construction Teacher to work with their Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils on a full time and permanent basis. As a Construction Teacher at this school, you will be required to deliver Btec Level 1 Construction to the young people at this Alternative Provision.


The school 

 Alternative Provision in West Bradford that caters for pupils that have been removed from mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis due to their behaviour, mental health issues or for safeguarding issues. This school is set up as a charity and benefit from having an on site farm, so a lot of the construction teaching will take place accross the farm.


Requirements

•PTTLS/DTTS/Cert ED

•hold relevant construction industry qualifications at Level 3*

• have current, relevant occupational expertise and knowledge gained through hands-on experience in the construction industry, commensurate with Level 3 competencies, and appropriate to the assessment criteria being assessed

•hold, or be currently working towards, a recognised assessing qualification, which could include any of the following:

•Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment

•Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30

•Be physically fit and energetic.
