Construction Teacher / Halton 

Immediately or January 2019  

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a  Construction Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a Pupil Referral Unit in Halton. This  Construction Teacher role will start immediately, however a January start can be catered too. The post will be full-time and the candidate will be required to teach construction at Btec Level. 

The desired  Construction Teacher  must be passionate about building relationships with pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, whereby a mainstream setting may have not been appropriate. The desired Teacher must have experience of working within a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) setting and be comfortable in teaching to Btec.

This school was graded Good by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. The school is "a safe and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their potential ."

To be considered for the position of Construction Teacher you must:

  • Have experience teaching  Construction at Btec Level (you could have a specialism in Electronics, Engineering or similar)
  • Have a passion for teaching pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
