An exciting opportunity to show impact
As Course Director of Humanities at St Anne’s Academy, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, specialising in Geography, who is well equipped to share your expertise with a developing team of recently qualified subject specialist Teachers. You may already have some experience of leading a team or this might be your first foray, but your commitment and desire for excellence will be clear. You will have a track record of delivering successful student outcomes across all ability ranges at both KS3 and KS4 with a proven set of Geography GCSE results.
Career development opportunities are available to develop leadership skills at whole school level to suit individual strengths, experience and professional development needs. The Academy will support you through leadership training to ensure you are ready for progression to senior leadership, e.g. NPQSL or a Masters qualification.
If you’re ready for a new challenge with leadership responsibilities and can inspire young people to achieve their true potential, this could be the job for you.
An Easter start would be preferred but this can be negotiated for the right candidate.
St Anne’s Academy, jointly sponsored by David and Anne Crossland and the Church of England, has a caring, supportive ethos underpinned by Christian values designed to inspire students to enjoy learning and succeed in life.
