Salary: £32,902- £36,655 per annum, pro rata inclusive of London Weighting. Appointments are made at the bottom of the salary scale but relevant past experience is taken into account in the spinal point awarded.

Hours of Work: 28 hours per week

Working within the Visual Arts Team, this post is to lead the Foundation course providing management of the teaching and assessment; course planning and timetabling; course publicity and recruitment; student and teacher engagement; exhibition planning; and the day to day running of the course. 

You will ensure that the course delivers outstanding student success and lead the innovative strategic development of its provision in line with the programme areas and college-wide strategic plans. Within this role you will also be expected to teach on the Diploma.

What we are looking for (Please address the specific criteria below within a covering letter and attach to your CV file):

- A degree or equivalent professional qualifications or commensurate experience for the role.

- Have experience of teaching and assessing adults on a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, including recent experience in supporting learners to meet learning objectives and assessment criteria relevant to the UAL Level 4 Diploma in Foundation Studies – Art & Design

-  Significant experience of managing teams 

-  Experience of managing programmes of a similar nature; demonstrating ability to strategically design programmes and curriculums
