DfE performance data published in January 2017 places the college eighth highest in the country for “A level progress” and as the highest performing Catholic college in the country. The College was inspected in February 2017 and became only the third sixth form college in the country to be judged “outstanding” under the latest common inspection framework. Inspectors quote: “Teachers know their students well and are committed to ensuring that they reach their full potential. Teachers’ enthusiasm and passion for teaching and learning are infectious, motivating and challenging students to try their very best.”
The successful candidate will have additional responsibilities for leading or managing teaching and learning and will be awarded a Responsibility Allowance in addition to their pay spine salary subject to the level of responsibility.
