As our Cover Supervisor and Sports Coach you will provide stability and continuity for students whose lessons are affected through staff absence, whilst providing support to staff and students within the Sports and Performing Arts area.
You will also support in the delivery of extra-curricular sports clubs, establish new sports clubs and help take students to the highest levels of school sports performance.
When not required to cover lessons, you will support the Sports and Performing Arts team in the delivery of PE lessons and maintain facilities and sports equipment.

Droylsden Academy is an 11-16 Co-Educational School in Tameside, Greater Manchester. It is currently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (2022 and 2017). The Academy serves over 900 students and employs over 100 teachers and support staff. The school is heavily over-subscribed, has an impressive state -of-the art modern building and is in a very strong financial position.
The Tame River Educational Trust was founded in January 2022, with Droylsden Academy as its founding member. Our Multi Academy Trust (MAT) is a sponsored Trust (sponsored by Tameside College and Clarendon Sixth Form) and currently has one secondary school and an Associate Member secondary school (soon to become a full member).
Our Trust mission is to challenge educational and social disadvantage by hosting a family of great community-based schools in which to learn, teach and belong.
