COVER SUPERVISOR – Fixed Term for 1 Year, Term Time Only, 32.5 hours per week
Required for September 2020, LGA Pay Scale 5, Point 12-17 £21,589-£23,836 per annum. Actual pro rata salary £17,118-£18,899 per annum. The hours of work are 32.5 per week Monday to Friday 8.15am-3.15pm (term time only). The actual starting salary for the successful candidate is £17,118 per annum.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident person to be our Cover Supervisor who will supervise a group of pupils during the short term absence of a teacher to ensure that pupils carry out a pre-prepared lesson, maintain good order and to keep pupils on task, responding to questions and generally assisting pupils to undertake set activities to support our pupils’ learning. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team or on their own under the direction of the Assistant Head and Cover Manager. The role involves supervising pupils during cover lessons and supporting the Cover Manager with administration tasks. Please also refer to the detailed job description.
