(Starting salary £15,655 - £16,946 based on a 30 hour week)
Contract: Permanent, term time only (38 weeks)
Hours: 30 – 32.5 hours per week

Melbourn Village College, as part of the Cam Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to support the college in attaining its aims and objectives and to support students to enable them to develop personal excellence and a sense of pride as members of the college.
Student progress is proven to be consistently high and the college is committed to equipping students with the skills they need to be successful in their future lives. As a successful and ambitious school with 632 students there is a strong community feel. Here, everybody is somebody.
The successful candidate will be able to supervise classes in KS3 & KS4 following a programme of study during the absence of the class teacher with the ability to establish a constructive, safe and ordered atmosphere.

Melbourn Village College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 academy, situated near Royston in Cambridgeshire. The school, which converted to become an academy school in October 2011, has 474 students on the school roll. Since 1 September 2013, Melbourn Village College has been a member of The Cam Academy Trust.
