The Ellesmere Port Church of England College is a secondary school with an ethos based on Anglican beliefs where we welcome students from all faiths.
We are a part of the Frank Field Education Trust and work collaboratively with the others in our FFET family, allowing our students and staff many opportunities to develop themselves. This is embodied in the FFET and College vision: Social Justice through Excellence in Education.
We have a modern, state of the art building, which uses new technologies to support and enrich the learning experience and curriculum. This rich combination ensures that we are able to prepare all our students for the challenges of the future.
The Ellesmere Port C of E College is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person, who will play a vital role in helping us continue to drive up standards, by supervising classes in the absence of a teacher.
The role will also include undertaking duties to support teaching and learning in subject areas, to be determined dependent on your area of expertise, supervision of students’ work and management of student behaviour.
The successful candidate must be computer literate, organised and have at least five GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications).
Enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility are essential. Knowledge and experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with colleagues and leaders to champion the College’s development and to be part of our challenging, but rewarding, journey towards improvement.
Applications will be considered from candidates wishing to apply for this role on a job share basis.
