We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team.

As a Cover Supervisor you will supervise whole classes during the absence of teachers. Cover Supervisors will give instructions for the lesson as provided by a teacher and the primary focus of the role will be to maintain good conduct in the classroom and to keep students on task.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

·        Supervising pupils engaged in learning activities

·        Act as a role model and set high expectations of conduct and behaviour

·        Keep pupils on task and respond to general queries

·        Providing feedback to teachers and record keeping, recording absence, etc.

Candidates should be organised, self-motivated and confident as well as being extremely good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT Skills.

The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working with teenagers and young adults.

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment. 

Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community.
