About the Role
We are seeking a well qualified graduate for the post of Cover Supervisor. There are two openings for a Cover Supervisor: one from 3rd September 2018 to 31st August 2019 and the second from 1st November 2018 to 31st March 2019. The successful applicant will be required to cover lessons for teachers who are absent from school. The post holder will be required to ensure that there is good order in the classroom, that work set is completed and to complete administration tasks to ensure that there is excellent attendance and punctuality by students. The post will also entail some support for general school administration, when the demand for cover lessons is low. The successful post holder would be expected to contribute to the extra curricular life of the school. This post would be ideal for a graduate considering a career in teaching and/or seeking a place on a PGCE course.
