The school is looking for a reliable candidate who is comfortable coving a variety of year groups. As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to cover lessons during the short term absence of the main class teacher who will have set suitable work for the duration. At a very basic level the role of the Cover Supervisor is to supervise the class whilst they complete tasks set by the teacher. This requires no active teaching, marking, planning etc.
The ideal candidate will have impeccable behaviour management skills and will be able to easily build a strong rapport with both staff and students. You will need to have at least 20 days of experience working with groups of children aged 11 – 16. The successful candidate will also have an education to a degree level (or equivalent).
