Cover Supervisor Scale 4 Point 17 to 22 - £17,772 to £20,661 p.a. (£13,181 to £15,367 p.a. pro rata) 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
Temporary contract until 31 August 2018 commencing as soon as possible We have an exciting opportunity for well-motivated Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of the Cover Manager/teaching staff. The role will include implementation of work programmes, managing student behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities. The post holder will work across the School to support teachers in the development and delivery of learning. In addition, the post holders will provide general support to the curriculum and be expected to play a full part in the life of the School. Applicants should:
• be strongly motivated to work with young people in a learning environment
• have very good interpersonal skills
• be very well organised and efficient
• have a confident and professional manner
• have very good literacy and numeracy skills and be educated to at least Level 3 (A level/NVQ 3 or equivalent) qualifications or experience
