ABC Teachers are looking for motivated and confident individuals to work on a part and full time basis, as a Cover Supervisor, in a variety of Secondary Schools across Staffordshire.
As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the main class teacher. You will ensure that the pupils remain on task and help them with any queries that they may have, ensuring that the behaviour standards set by the school are met.
If you are looking to gain experience within a school environment then Cover Supervision will be perfect for you. We only ask that you have at least 20 days worth of experience of working with groups of children, aged 11-16. This can be in any setting.
ABC Teachers, have a great track record of helping people gain enough experience and knowledge, to then go on to teacher training. We have also helped people get on to and complete SCITT programs.
The ideal candidate will:
· Have strong behaviour management skills.
· Have 20 days of referenceable experience, working with children in the last 5 years.
· Have a resilient character.
· Understand the difference a great education can make.
· Be educated to a Degree level or equivalent
