Cover Supervisor

30 hours per week, term time only plus two INSET days

We are looking for a cover Supervisor to provide safe classroom supervision in lessons during the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

The successful applicant will have:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Good general communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management and effective organisational skills.
• Experience of working in a school or with young people (desirable).
• Experience of exercising authority.

You will enjoy working with 11-18-year-olds. You must be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of team. You will share our inclusive values which are to Aim high – Be inclusive – Work together; and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.
