ABC work with a number of schools based in across Leicester City and Leicestershire that are looking for Cover Supervisors to cover the absence of class teachers. This cover is required on both a day-to-day and longer term basis.
A Cover Supervisor is there to deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, safeguard the children and give any help required by both students and teachers.
The ideal candidate will have at least 20 days experience working with groups of children (Sports coaching/Mentoring/Youth work/Drama or Dance teaching etc) in the last 5 years and have the aim to further their experience within the education setting. A degree is desired but not essential.
Working as a Cover Supervisor for ABC Teachers would be the perfect way to trial the schools in your local area and discover whether a Teaching career is definitely for you. The role is flexible to achieve the perfect work/life balance and can fit around commitments you already have.
