Job overview

Creative Arts Teacher
This is a part time post to accommodate a job share

We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated and hardworking Creative Arts department.

As a middle school, we treat Years 5 and 6 as a discrete Primary phase. Ipsley CE RSA Academy (9-13 middle school) and RSA Academy Arrow Vale (13/18 high school) then work closely to ensure seamless curriculum provision from the start of Year 7 through to Year 13. Creative Arts teachers within both schools work together as one department with the same goal of ensuring pupils achieve the best possible outcomes via an engaging learning experience
This post will be based at Ipsley, teaching the Creative Arts curriculum to pupils across Years 7 and 8, including Art, Design and Food. Ipsley is a vibrant learning community that has seen rapid growth over recent years and is now oversubscribed. The school is a friendly and caring environment where staff are enabled to make a difference to pupils’ lives.

This is an excellent opportunity that offers great professional development and the opportunity to work in a unique context. If you have energy, vision and enthusiasm, you won’t regret joining Team Ipsley!

Interested candidates who wish to have an informal conversation about this role are welcome to contact Yvette Wigg, Principal’s PA. The information pack and application form is available to download from our website www.ipsleyacademy.co.uk. Alternatively, please email ywigg@ipsleyacademy.co.uk.

Central RSA Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.
