We currently have an exciting opportunity in the role of Curriculum Lead for Modern Foreign Languages at our fantastic school, MEA Central. This is a permanent post, attracting a TLR 2.3 of £7,017 starting in September 2022. 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Curriculum Leader who is able to obtain the best outcomes for our students. As Curriculum Lead for Modern Foreign Languages, you will lead the development of a department of  exceptional colleagues, with support from an outstanding school leadership team. 

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about their subject and determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all of our students, whilst exciting and engaging them in their learning.

The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish to both KS3 and KS4 level, with French as their specialism.

The right candidate should:

• know that teachers make the difference and that that teaching and learning is the ‘main thing’.

• possess excellent communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.

• motivate and inspire students and colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.

  • Only three school in the country have a smaller gap between disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged students.
