Values and vision

Manshead CE Academy aims to encourage a search for personal excellence in both students and staff. It wants to serve the community as well as abide by these shared values: respect, responsibility, faith and compassion. Teachers strive to empower students to achieve their full academic potential, while also concentrating on their social, moral and spiritual behaviour.

The school aims to provide each individual student with the personal attention they need to prepare them for future learning and life. This is reflected in the use of Pupil Premium funding to help those from less advantaged backgrounds reach their potential.

Manshead CE Academy specialises in maths, but also develops pupils’ creative sides through music, PE, dance, social sciences, ethics and drama. The Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme is offered at Bronze (Year 10), Silver (Year 11) and Gold (sixth form) levels.
