The Exciting Role 

The College Group is looking for a full-time, permanent Data and Admin Team Leader to join our dedicated Central Services team. This role will be predominantly based at Accrington and Rossendale College however flexibility is required in this role as the successful candidate may also be required to travel across any of the College campuses. 

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of all functions and processes associated with Apprenticeship MI and Administration Team and ensure high levels of customer service are achieved. You will work closely with the Apprenticeship Sales and Delivery Teams and cross-college support teams in order to ensure the college delivers an outstanding service. 


What You Will Be Doing

• To be responsible for the supervision of members of the Apprenticeship MI and Administration Team (based in Accrington), including directing day to day duties, setting deadlines, monitoring workload and outcomes, undertaking appraisal processes, management of annual leave; absence and performance in the first instance  

• Identify opportunities for refining procedures and processes to support the continuous improvement of the team

• Keep up to date with College systems and processes

• Ensure Apprenticeship paperwork is fully completed 

• Process data on College’s student record system in-line with agreed College dates

• Work across College to resolve queries 

• Monitor the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account and resolve queries effectively 


What We Are Looking For:

• 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above

• Level 3 administrative or team leader qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience of working in busy office environment

• Experience of working as part of a team

• Ability to manage own workload and prioritise workload

• Knowledge of administering DAS Account (desirable) 

• Experience of working within an education environment (desirable)

• Experience of co-ordinating/supervising a team (desirable)
