Data and Assessment Officer
This is a Temporary Contract for 6 months with the possibility of it becoming permanent. 36 hours per week, term-time plus 5 weeks (one week at Easter and four weeks during August). Hours: 8.30am to 4.30 pm.
Actual Salary: £19,134 - £21,120 including London Weighting (HO4 £19,917 - £21,984)
Park High School is a highly successful 11-18 mixed school with nearly 1600 students in a pleasant location in Stanmore. The school achieves excellent results and the high quality of relationships is frequently commented upon. Ofsted (2013) judged the school outstanding in all areas and in early 2014 we were designated a National Teaching School. We are looking to appoint a talented and committed individual with the qualities, skills and drive necessary to fulfil this key role.
We are looking for someone with good administrative skills. You will need to be accurate, reliable and well-organised, a good communicator who is calm and professional in a busy environment. You will have responsibility for inputting target grades from various sources, for preparing SIMS templates and for assisting the Data and Assessment Manager with the production of statistical returns and reports. Significant experience of data manipulation, analysis and reporting is essential. Knowledge of data collection and statistical analysis methodologies and techniques using MIS specifically but not exclusively, SIMS is desirable.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure and a commitment to team working. The post holder will need to be flexible at key points in the Data and Assessment cycle.
