Pinc College is seeking to appoint a key lead team member. As part of our phased roll out we are looking to recruit a Deputy Campus Lead at each Campus.

The role

As Deputy Campus Lead, you will be responsible for creating a supportive culture, taking guidance from your campus lead to, lead and support a small campus team and students accessing Art, Design, Craft and Creative Futures (our work-related activity) at our Specialist Creative College.

Under direction of the Campus Lead, the Deputy Campus Lead will support the day to day running combined with the safeguarding and wellbeing of your team and students. You will support the lead to oversee, track and monitor your students and their holistic progress, including supporting on examinations, while nurturing supportive relationships with family and linked professionals, taking full Campus Lead duties in the absence of the Campus Lead.

Experience of leading teams within Further Education, coupled with a solid background in SEND are essential, for this stand out opportunity.

You will be leading on the implementation of Pinc’s universal SEND strategies and role modelling as a Learning Support, coaching all team members to support their students to achieve their potential.

Extensive experience of leading pastorally in Further Education/SEND and leading others is advantageous. You do not need to be a qualified Teacher.

Safeguarding experience at managerial level is desirable and further training will be provided.

You will be able to lead a team who educate, safeguard and support neurodivergent students, (16–25-year-olds).

 

The role would be five days per week.

The successful Deputy Campus Lead will support the Campus to deliver high quality education, joining a fantastic team of teachers, SENCOs, Learning Support and wellbeing specialists to work together to support the needs of the young people.

All team members we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS and barring checks, that will be registered on the Update Service.
