We are looking for a Deputy Chief Executive Officer to lead secondary school improvement across the current seven secondary schools serving 6,000 students, as well as contribute and influence all areas of the Trust’s operations.  This is a new high-profile post which comes at an important point in the development of the trust. We are inviting candidates with extensive educational leadership experience and a knowledge and understanding of outstanding secondary practice to apply for the role.

The role will take a key part in setting the strategy for the Trust and its daily operations, working very closely with the CEO and executive colleagues. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of secondary education at a time when the landscape is changing dramatically. An innovative and creative approach is key as well as the ability to influence and build relationships. The Trust is looking for a candidate to match the ambition they have and create a culture of collaboration to achieve it.

Unity Schools Partnership is a Multi Academy Trust of 25 schools with approval to open three further new schools, four schools joining in July and a further new special school to open on September. The ambition of Unity Schools Partnership is to achieve a step change in the quality of education provided by primary, secondary and special schools and that its schools are achieving top quartile performance by 2023.

The trust expects its work to be characterised by ethical leadership, an ambition for improvement at pace and the expectation that remarkable improvements can be achieved.
