English is taught by a dedicated team of specialists who work to equip all our students with the skills and attributes to communicate powerfully and think critically, and to foster and nourish the love of the transformative power of literature. We offer GCSE in English Language and GCSE and A level in English Literature. We also offer GCSE and A level Film Studies.
We are seeking an inspiring and well qualified teacher, who shares our vision and commitment to high aspirations for academic scholarship, good behavior and personal development. As Deputy Curriculum leader you will lead and monitor the curriculum development of English in a particular Key Stage, and will facilitate and encourage inspirational learning experiences which provide students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and attainment. You will support the Curriculum Leaders and Lead Practitioner in raising the success of English across the whole school.
