We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fulfil the role of Deputy Head (Academic) in our Senior School. This is an all-encompassing position, requiring the skills and abilities to deal with a diverse range of issues.
The Deputy Head (Academic) has a pivotal role within the Senior Management and Senior Leadership teams, and plays a key part in maintaining and improving the School’s reputation for achieving high academic performance.
Responsibilities include advising on academic policy, contributing to the School Development Plan, setting and maintaining high levels of effectiveness and efficiency in the day-to-day running of the School by undertaking any task which promotes this, and the overall direction, support and supervision of academic staff.
The suitable candidate will need to have an abundance of energy, enthusiasm, tenacity and intelligence to keep pace with the requirements of this challenging and rewarding role.

Lingfield College is a vibrant and highly successful independent day school for children aged 0–18 years, located in the Surrey countryside on the Kent and Sussex borders, just 30 minutes from London.
